Issued: Original hand-colored engraving from “The Naturalist's Library” by Sir. William Jardine (1751-1813).
Published 1840 by Edinburgh printer and engraver William Home Lizars with illustrations by James Duncan (insect volumes) and Edward Lear.
Print is in very good or better condition with trivial toning mainly around the margins and age browning small staples holes present to the bottom of the print. Overall very presentable and attractive well worthy of hanging for display. Blank on verso.
