Virginia Greenleaf (American, Chicago 1925 - Philadelphia 2020). American painter, whose subjects range from farm animals to rural landscape and floral display. Her unique palette of color renders her art softened, as though behind a veil of grayed light. Some of her pieces are exhibited in the permanent collections of the Department of State in Washington, D.C., as well as in various ambassadors’ residencies.
