Ornate and beautiful circa early 1900’s pair set of Art Nouveau French lamps designed by artist and sculpture Auguste Moreau who was born in the mid 1800s in France. Both lamps are signed and stamped. Made in Paris France.

Made of metal and painted in multiple shades of gold first stand portraits a beautiful young woman carrying small logs of wood. Second stand shows a young and strong male carrying sharp axe. Feels like both figures are coming back from nearby woods where they were gathering wood logs for a house fire.

Lamps are complete and in working condition. Paint loss and chipping as pictured. Each stand can be stripped and repainted if desired.

Each lamp measures 32 inches tall and is 5 1/4 inch wide at the base. Base stand for each figurine is 6 inches high and each figurine measures 11 1/2 inches tall. Set weighs 10.5 lbs.
