Impressionist style oil painting with some impaso techniques used to create dimensionality within the image. French woman in colorful skirts blouses and berets enjoying a walk down the street toward Paris Basilica in the distance.

Painting is signed in lower right Burnett which refers to Caroline Currie Burnett American artist who lived and painted in Paris during late 19th and early 20th century and has exhibited with the Societe Nationale des Beaux Arts in Paris in 1898. Her artistic work has been inspired by the scenes surrounding her and she loved to paint buildings and cityscapes.

This particular painting most likely dates to late 60’s time frame and has been framed into modern and minimalistic frame. Canvas condition is clean some paint loss and crazing present by the skyline and left building windows. Please see all the pictures for condition details.
