This is an original French hand colored No. 186 etching of View Champs Elisees taken the great basin of Thuilleries ; view the Champs Elisees / [ vue des champs elysees prise du grand bassin des Tuileries] published by Paul-Andre Basset (French 1785-1819). Image shows French bourgeoisie enjoying afternoon walk by one of Parisians landmark - Tuileries Garden located between the Louvre Museum and the Place de la Concorde.

Overall condition of the print is good to very good considering the age yellow paper toning around the plate area present as well as some soiling to by left tree and the sky. White tape residue from previous framing present by the top trim including left and right corner. Minor paper creases but no splits.

Etching measures c. WxH – 19 ½ x 13 inches. Plate measures c. 17 ¼ x 11 ½ inches.
