This is a wonderful and rare set that includes 4 handmade composition dolls that were exhibited in 1939 world's fair in New York City (written on bottom). Maker is Mary Nicoll (possibly the future maker of Royal Doulton Figures) of 7 New Court London England WC. Each doll has certain condition issues so please examine all the pictures carefully for details. 4 dolls present the following details:

Doll 1 - Bugler Royal Scots 7 New Court London W.C. made in England – doll is approximately 12 inches tall and doll's platform measures c. 4 x 3.75 inches.

Doll 2 – Private Soldier H.M. Grenadier Guards. Mary's Nicoll 7 New Court London England – doll is approximately 12 inches tall and doll's platform measures c. 5.75 x 8 inches. Doll's hat is disconnected from its head.

Doll 3 – Officer Cameron Highlanders 7 New Court London W.C. - doll is approximately 12 inches tall and doll's platform measures c. 4 x 4 inches. Doll is missing officer's hat left hand and sword although present; it is broken and misaligned from its proper position.
